We've been outside a lot the last few days, enjoying the warm weather. On Wednesday, her birthday, we spent the whole day with Amy, Alyssa, Abby, Alex, and Adam! We had so much fun. In the morning we went to the park and ate timbits, Maria didn't like the fact that she didn't get any... In the afternoon we went for a walk around the pond behind their house and fed the ducks, Maria slept the entire time! We also ate more timbits...
Today we went for a walk around the waterfront and bought Maria a sunhat at the farmer's market. Martin wanted to buy the Nova Scotian Tartan hat but I couldn't bring myself to let our Nova Scotian baby wear it, so I said no. Maybe I'll warm up to the idea sometime. When we got home we hung out in the sunshine for awhile.
On the home front, Martin became the hero, he put in the counter top! It looks great and I love it, a lot!! Great Job Hubby!!

Next project for Martin is the basement, insulating it and doing something about the water that seeps into it along the driveway side; also the never ending little things that need completing in the house.
Oh yes, Maria is now 15lbs, 11oz and 25". She is wearing all 6-9 months clothes now too.
That is it, that is all
No Nova Scotian tartan, eh? Don't be surprised when.....!
