The finer things in life

So it was an odd weather day in Halifax...Snow, then rain, then sun, repeat a few times, throw in some big hail, snow, sun, rain....warm, cold.....a good day to introduce Maria to the finer things in life, like...

like the local dutch store! We finally ventured out to find it. For some reason there isn't one in Halifax, but rather it's out in the walk out basement of some guy's house near Lawrencetown beach. A nice scenic drive.
Here's Maria with all her 'loot'! She's sitting by herself there, and in her big girl clothes! All the 3-6 month stuff is getting too small, and she's now in the 6-9 month stuff!

  1. I love this dutch store! we'd go to it everytime we would go up to Seaforth (just beyond Laurencetown - that's where a bunch of our friends live). AND if you drive a little further (on that same windy road) you'll get to West Chezzetcook, where you'll see a little sign for Laughelton Gallery where a super awesome artist showcases her stuff. Her name is Judith Brannen and she's a good friend of ours!

Maria is getting so so big and cuter all the time! I love her blond hair and blue eyes!
