You did What???

So Emily just told me of her possible run in with one of, if not the most famous Nova Scotian, earlier this week.
It seems that when grocery shopping, Emily parked in front of a sports car, decked out with Pittsburg Pens seats and stuff inside. Then some guy who she thought may be Sydney Crosby, came out and loaded up his groceries into said car, at the same time she was, and she didn't have the nerve to say anything!
This from someone who asked a complete stranger she met in a park, to cut down some trees in our yard....

So maybe it wasn't him, but we looked up some pictures, and she thinks it could have been. But maybe he was playing a game somewhere, but no, we checked the schedule and it wasn't a game day.
So maybe it wasn't him, but maybe it was. I just had to write this 'cause I can just hear Devin and Brent with jaws dropping, exclaiming "YOU DID WHAT??!!??"
All they wanted was a photo of the Cole Harbour sign, much less the opportunity to meet one of the biggest hockey heros of our time!

Well, it's no Sydney Crosby in the flesh, but here's the best I can come up with guys, enjoy!

  1. Yeah...those boys get pretty excited about hockey!
They've asked several times if Mike's (as in Fisher) house is done. I'm sure they are hoping to catch him coming or going or.....

  3. How about, "Top o' th'mornin' to ye, sir!" Or, "Next time could you park a little further away, 'cause your car door almost scratched the paint in mine." Or,"Why don't you play for a real team, ya hoser!"
