Wow Wee We are Busy

Well, where to start and how to finish....

I've been meaning to post some pictures for a bit now but some are just getting too old. I would like to say that we've had a great summer so far and we don't want this warm weather and long days to end.

We've gone strawberry picking in June

We've gone blueberry picking in July.

And we hope to go raspberry and blackberry picking yet

We had a great time with Steve, Katrina, the girls, mom and dad, and Reuben and Emily in July. We did a lot of different things but mostly hung out, well the girls did, the guys worked quite hard on the Porter's house, Martin's management place. Check out Katrina and mom's blogs for pictures and stories.
Nicole had her seventh month birthday on the 29th. She is growing slowly, sitting very well on her own, rolling over, sucking her thumb, and making new noises. Just the other day she has started making the dadada noises. Very cute.


Last weekend was Natal DAy weekend, it was Halifax/Dartmouth's birthday. There were a lot of celebrations in forms of concerts, garden teaparty with the Mayor, fireworks, a parade and Mother Goose!

We have also started work on the new house over on Moira street. We have a lot of plans but not a lot of time, so we'll see what happens??!!

We put up the rental ad for Russell street on kijijji today and have had a great response already so we have decided to book people in on Sunday late afternoon for showings.

So because we know we are too busy we are taking a bit of a time out this weekend and heading down the south shore to Graves Island for a couple nights of camping with friends (who have no kids). We hope to relax and enjoy the ocean air.
