We truly had a fun filled weekend with lots of laughs and adventure.
We did some swimming, playing at the park, reading stories to the girls, and most importantly playing shuffle board.
Stevin and Dad created shuffle boards for each family this Christmas. Their craftsmanship was impeccable! Katrina thought up the idea of a tournament and off we went. Martin and David were the finalist, Martin beating out David in a ten puck shoot off! The award, his name on a plaque.
Maria did really well all weekend, getting to know her cousins and aunts and uncles and Oma and Opa even better. Maria really enjoyed playing with Petra and Naomi, in the park, with building blocks and with their uncles. Maria also gave attention to baby Rachel, giving her toys and her booties, rocking her in her chair...it was really cute to watch.
We feel so blessed to have such a loving family and can't wait for this baby within to meet each of them.
