Martin, Maria and I took a trip to Ontario again last week. Martin was down only for a few days, which we all spent at the farm and had a Christmas celebration with my family. We had an excellent Christmas meal and enjoyed each other's company.
Maria and I stayed another week, taking in a wedding, lots of visits, the annual ornament exchange and lots of treats to eat party, and an early celebration for Naomi's fifth birthday. We both had a great time. Maria just loves the cows on the farm and loved being outside. She seems to be missing the cows because she points at the little picture on the yogurt and says moo moo, she also has a cow on her bowl and says the same thing....
Maria really missed her daddy when she was gone and clung to him for some time Friday morning when daddy was finally around long enough...We hope to enjoy this beautiful weather this weekend and spend some family time outside raking leaves and cleaning the car.
Next weekend we are off to Barrie to enjoy the Geertsema Christmas, then it is time to stick around home and prepare for baby #2.
