A Long time

Well, I think that it is about time I tackle this post.  You when you push something for a while, then it gets to a point where it's too overwhelming to do...that is what happened here.

My last post was after the birthdays in January.  So much has happened since then.  I'll start with the big stuff.  Just before Christmas we were told that Air Georgian was shutting down April 1st in Halifax, all the flying was moving to Toronto.  Big stuff for us to absorb.  We had options, either follow the job to Toronto(stressful flying, higher living expenses, longer commute), quit and apply to another flying company in Halifax(few options, lower pay), or think of another option.  We flipped back and forth a few times, praying desperately for answers and guidance.  What came of that, option C, we stay, Martin takes a leave of absence (job is held for 3 yrs) and we pursue Real estate.
Thus began our new journey.  Martin finished our current home so that we could list and sell it.  He followed up on leads to buy investment properties, created a business name, and listed our other rental property in the city.
Fast forward to today, I am sitting at my mom's computer alone, kids are out with Grandpa and Grandma.  Martin is back home working hard on the newly attained properties in Middleton, Lawrencetown, and Digby.
Our future looks like this,  Nicole and Maria starting full time school in just a few weeks, Martin managing several properties under Town and Country Property Management, Lauren tagging along with whom ever, and myself, working at All Nations CRC as administrator and hoping to pick up more administrative work soon.
As a family of our own we feel we belong in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  We love our community, our church, our school, and our environment.
I feel so blessed to have stayed out here in Ontario at my parents and at the in-laws for sometime this summer as we build friendship and memories with our families.

God is Good, in Him we trust and follow.
