We had a great day, filled with swimming, playing, naps, supper with Sheilagh and some shopping.
Maria asked for hamburgers for supper and we made cupcakes for dessert. Sheilagh had bought Maria an outfit but it was too small so we decided to go to the store and exchange it for a different one, the convience of the city. Maria had a great day, she's still wearing her special shirt Aunt Katrina made and sent her, I may have to wash it by hand some night... The end of the week we pick up Grandma at the airport! Sunday will be Maria's birthday party, she is sooo excited. And thanks Oma and Opa for the card, Maria got it in the mail today and she has the song almost memorized, Tinkerbell's You can Fly.
Maria you are our very special oldest girl and we love you so much! I love the conversations we have in the car, your opinions on what you like and don't like, whether it's my shoes, your skirt, or what's for supper. You are a wonderful big sister to Nicole and Lauren, who love you so much too!
Daddy really likes it when you help him with reno shopping and work. Maria, we also love that you are learning so much about Jesus through the songs you listen and sing to, in the stories we read and at church. God Bless you, Sweet Maria Jane.
