It has been a bit of time since the last post. Much has happened, so I'll jot down highlights and insert the odd picture.
It as Thanksgiving Monday that the girls and I flew out to Ontario to spend sometime at my parents. I was in need of a physical, mental and emotional rest so I decided to mom's I would go.
During the month that we were there I felt truly blessed by all my family, and feel like I have caught up and now can pace myself properly.
The girls had a great time and lots of fun. Maria's farmer gene came out while spending frequent evenings in the barn with cousin Sam, Grandpa and Uncle Daniel. She also got to ride in the tractor with Uncle Daniel, and in the farm truck with Grandpa.
The girls made regular visits to Opa and Uncle Stevin's work site, having a snack with them.
On Halloween they went trick or treating to the work site, also to Great-Aunt Wilma's and Great Grandpa and Grandma's
Aunt Sharon had the girls a couple of different days and came to Grandma's for regular visits, playing with them on the floor, singing songs and reading stories. Sam and Maria seemed to get along best outside or in the barn, where Nicole and Savanna enjoyed each other in the house.
Aunt Erin got a lot of belly rubs and cuddles from the girls, then when baby Allison was born, Maria was a great help with feeding and rocking baby Allison. Nicole, on the other hand, well she's going to keep me on my toes....
Aunt Katrina also got a lot of quality time with the girls, all those girls together seemed like quite the party!! Crafts, applesauce, pumpkin decorating, and dancing were all done with these girls and Aunt Katrina and Oma. Little Elijah received lots of affection from Maria, she certainly seems to miss him.
Maria and Nicole had a sleep over at Oma and Opa's one weekend. Then when Martin came down for a few days we all went to his parents place. The girls made bread with Oma, raked leaves with Oma and daddy and rode in the bucket of the tractor with daddy while Opa drove.
Memories were made every day we were in Ontario with family.
We miss you all and still feel the warmth of all your blessings. Thank you!!
