Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies new and experienced!
Today was a good day despite the overcast, windy cold weather. Martin was home all day so that was a treat in itself! We all went out for supper to Smitty's Restaurant, a family diner. The girls were oohed and aahed over. They were good and cute and smiley... After dinner we stopped at the park so Martin and Maria could burn off some supper, me too of course. The park is so very exciting for Maria, she just loves the swings, slides and stones. Never fun to leave the and it has become habit to put up a bit of a fuss when leaving, oh well, that's the phase we are at right now.
Nicole has been hitting new phases too. She has discovered her tongue and how to blow bubbles. She babbles and coos and smiles all the time, except when it is time to nap then its arguing...into screaming...not fun, lets hope this phase passes soon.
I feel truly blessed to be a mom, an opportunity given by God alone. I do enjoy most days and look forward to seeing the girls grow individually and together. Thank you God for these two beautiful girls, teach me patience and caring in the difficult times.
