why I became a pilot

There are time when I think back as to why on earth did I ever get into this profession. Generally low pay (ok, higher than Tim Hortons, but I am just starting to get what I was earning when I painted), poor hours - I just finished a 12 hr day. That's 1 day, not an equivalent of 1 1/2 eight hour days, and rarely get stats and holidays when you want them.
