Settling Back In

Maria and I have been home for a few days now. Clothes are unpacked and put away. Toys are strewn over the floor, books are knocked off the shelve and shoes are dragged from here to there.
Maria took a bit to get used to her crib again, after sleeping in a playpen for 3 and half weeks. I hope that she has realized that the crib has hard sides and that all her bumping around will slow down. She doesn't sleep very still, always crawling around, twisting and turning....the result is a tired baby in the morning. Soon this phase will pass also.
The first day we were back, it was neat to see the big smiles Maria kept giving Martin. She seemed so happy to be home again, as was I.
I don't have any pictures from the week we spent with Martin's family, mom is sending those to me.
Maria and her cousin Sam.
Grandpa and Maria looking at cows. Maria just loves the cows!!

Aunt Erin and her nephew and niece

Enjoy the rest of summer and take in the sweet smells of fall.
