Grandpa Treimstra
September 30th, 1922 - December 28th 2008
Sunday morning Grandpa Treimstra passed away, suddenly and quietly. Although it is a sudden shock that he is gone, it was not unexpected, as he was suffering from cancer of the lungs, liver and bone.
We are quite happy that we got to see him one last time and that he could hold his newest great-grand-daughter on Christmas morning. We had an enjoyable visit, sang some of his favorite carols, and athough we prayed for health and recovery, we all knew this was probably the last time we would talk togeather.
We Love you Grandpa. You are always in our hearts.
